How do I set "Control Panel" as a menu item?
In Win7: right click on the taskbar, Properties, Start Menu and Customize. Then select everything you want to display in the Start Menu. - This does not work under Classic Shell. As a matter of fact, "Customise" does not appear in Classic shell with right click on taskbar.
I cannot find "Control Panel" as a menu option anywhere....

Is it a built in feature of Classic Shell, and how do I get to it?

Thanks

If you are using version 3.6.8 or earlier or the Classic style of 3.9.x, go to the Special Items tab in Classic Start Menu settings (enable "All Settings"). There you can set Control Panel to Display as a menu.

If you upgrade to the latest beta 3.9.3 linked from the home page, it has now easier customization in Windows 7 style. Go to "Customize Start Menu" tab, locate Control Panel and set it to Display as a menu.

Classic Shell does not use the Properties setting in the taskbar. You need to right-click on the start button and select Settings.
