There is a hack to get the Windows 7 vertical taskbar as thin as the horizontal one (when small icons are used): http://www.eightforums.com/customizatio ... skbar.html However, this doesn't work in Windows 8. Can you do something about that? |

Well there is good news. The latest 7+ Taskbar Tweaker (4.4.2) removes the minimum width restriction the vertical Taskbar on the side has. It has an setting in 'Advanced Options' for that.  Note: Third party software recommendations are only for your convenience. Classic Shell bears no responsibility for them whatsoever. |
