So I didn't like the shell icon for the start menu button. I changed it to an icon from one of the packs recommend on the help page Now the Start Menu button has disappeared!!! I can still access the start menu, but when I right click I can't access Shell 8 Settings. I even tried re-installing. I guess I just need to somehow reset Shell * to it's basic settings to get the original icon back. any help is great!!! |

If you can still access the menu, go to All Programs -> Classic Shell -> Classic Start Menu settings. There you can go to the Start button tab. Choose the Aero button to restore the default button.
