Windows 10; Classic Shell 4.3.0
Start Menu Style: Classic style

The Classic style start menu shown on the settings does not have a "Log Off Owner..." But the start menu on my computer has this just above "Shut Down...." I want to remove "Log Off Owner.." from the start menu. I right-clicked on it hoping the find a menu that would have a choice to unpin it, but right-clicking does not show anything. Any suggestions about how to get rid of "Log Off Owner..."?

Also, the Classic style start menu shown on the settings has a vertical bar on the left that reads "Classic Start Menu" shown vertically one letter at a time. But my computer shows the words "Windows 10 Home" instead. Why are they different.

You can remove the Log Off option, go to the Special Items tab and loo for "Show Log Off".

The start menu image in the Style tab is just a sample. The text usually comes from the OS. You can change it from the "Menu caption" setting in the Menu Look tab.

By the way, is it possible to get rid the the vertical bar entirely?

Go to the Skin tab in Start Menu Settings and uncheck Caption.
