In my computer the taskbar looks like on the left, and in my laptop it looks like on the right. I want the taskbar to show wide (not square) items for each (no stacking) visible window on the screen along with their titles (text next to program icon). I have been searching the settings more than an hour, however I couldn't find the right option. Can you please help me on this?

Right click the taskbar and select new toolbar select a folder with the links you want, then right click it and uncheck 'show title' and 'show text'
Right click the taskbar and select properties, then check 'use small icons'
Right click the taskbar select properties, change 'taskbar buttons' to either never combine, or combine when full

You may also find the program 7+ Taskbar Tweaker: http://rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker incredibly useful.

Thank you for your replies.

I was able to do the change I desired by changing these two settings below:

[Taskbar > Right Click Menu > Properties]
