Hello,
is it possible to have the Classic Start menu SW without installation package
i.e. just a zipped archive?

Thanks,
Marco

Yes, to an extent. You can copy all files from an existing installation of Classic Shell on some PC and manually start ClassicStartMenu.exe from C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\. However for it to be started automatically on logon you need to install it.

You can copy a shortcut to the EXE at startup to make it start automatically but some functionality like "Pin to Start Menu" which is a shell extension won't be available because that requires installation/registration.
