I've been searching this morning without any success. I don't care if I have to change a color, disable a feature or what. But for the life of me, sometimes I cannot tell which window has the current focus by looking at the classic shell taskbar. Is there any way to make it FAR more visible than it is now? Perhaps I've changed something to make mine harder to tell. I defy you to tell me which window has the focus in the attached image.

It's the..."Classic Shell" firefox window. There has got to be a better way, it makes alt-tabbing hard also, when you forget what has focus. Anyway, thanks a bunch for any help!

You seem to be under the impression that the taskbar is a feature of Classic Shell. It is not. The entire desktop is a Windows feature: http://classicshell.net/faq/#general_whatnot

That said, you will have to find a way to edit the selected button bitmap in the Aero theme file. Sites like deviantart or eightforums may have some information how to do that.

Ah, thanks for putting me on that track. Hopefully now I can find a solution.
