I'm new here & thinking of installing Classic Shell.

When installed is the Classic Start Menu & button available to all users on a PC?

Can the Classic Start Menu be tailored for individual users, like Windows start menus prior to Win8, so that you have a base All Users start menu combined with individual start menu for each user?

If I've already got another Start Menu app installed, can I install Classic Shell or will they clash? I want to compare them and the one I have installed does not handle Multi-User.

Yes Classic Start Menu is fully multi-user aware and its own settings are also per-user but can be enforced for all users. See the help file's Administrative Settings section to configure it for all users. It also supports configuring its own settings via Group Policy administrative templates for single user or multi-user.

It starts for all users when installed and can be turned off for individual users too.

It is not recommended that you run multiple Start menu apps at the same time to avoid Explorer crashes. Exit one before starting the other.
