From time to time, I am unable to hover the items from my classic start menu. It is not a big deal, because I can still navigate through the menu using my keys. Also, when I exit the menu and start it again, the bug is gone. But, as I said before, it keeps on reoccuring from time to time.

Is there a way to fix this bug?

More information please. If you can tell us a way to reliably reproduce the bug then it can be fixed. What exactly do you mean "unable to hover". Does the mouse not highlight the menu item? Does it happen while browsing the menu or in search results too? Which version of Classic Shell are you using and on which version of Windows? Have you tried upgrading to the latest Classic Shell? Are you using a custom skin? Maybe a screenshot or screencast (video) of the problem will help us understand it?

I am using Classic Shell 4.0.0 with Windows 8 Standard Version.
By "unable to hover", I mean that when I move my mouse over a menu item, the item doesn't open. But since I haven't found a way to repruce the error yet (and it seems to me that it orccurs randomly), I think there won't be a way to get this fixed.

I will write post a message as soon as I will discover a pattern to this.

When you hover over an item, it will only get selected, to open it, you will have to click. If you are navigating cascading menus by hover, you can reduce the "Menu Delay" from the General Behavior tab so it opens faster.
