Does anyone have one of these? I just need the unclicked button on a transparent background, the exact same as the top one in the image I've attached, but at 125%. Simply stretching the image makes it blurry, and doing print screen to capture the 125% image that way makes it really difficult to make the background transparent (especially around the edges of the white parts of the button).

Was just hoping someone might have already done this. If not, would you be able to tell me which .dll file this icon is stored in?

Thanks.

I looked a little for file location, then gave up.
I just made screenshots and removed the background with Gimp.
Problem- when I use Classic shell, the windows image has dropped down and shifted to left by one pixel.
I included the original screenshot 125 % size and other one with extra pixels.

Actually, I have another question. How do you make it so that when you hover over the start button, it doesn't fade into the new image, but rather just instantly changes to it? I read something about it on the site but didn't really understand what to do.

Here is the image I've made specific for myself. If you could please let me know exactly what to do to achieve this, I would appreciate it.

Thanks again.

There is probably a registry setting that can be changed in Windows,
but you could try using Ivo's animated start button with faster speed.

Read about it in this link to learn about animated buttons:

http://www.classicshell.net/tutorials/b ... orial.html

I took your image and added a 1-pixel line to the very top,
that has special color codes to tell the button to have no transition delay.
It seems to work on Win 10, no time to check on Win8.1

Crossing fingers that it works for you.
If it does work, then that special extra top row of pixels can be added to any 3 image button for a fast response.
Just protect that line from alteration or it won't work. Those colored pixels have to be the exact value.
