This is a modification of the small buttons from viewtopic.php?f=18&t=174 (Original Windows 7 Orb Start Buttons of various sizes).

The file WindowsStartButtonSmall.png has 36x36 icons, which were a bit too big for my taskbar, so I resized them to 32x32 and shifted them up by one pixel. This works well on my laptop with Windows 8.1 and a 1366x768 screen. The file is WindowsStartButtonSmaller32x32.png - just right click and save it.
