tl;dr. That's fine. I think, I wanted to just get the frustration out of my head.

Whoa, too much time downloading already. Mega downloaded two times to 99%, then auto deleted due to encrytion error.
Downloaded WinWorld smaller one. Says missing some manager at install. All I need is a screen shot of what the scroll bar looks like,
or location of the bitmaps or pngs, on disc.
I found 7zip opens up the windows files, and folders. Resource hacker opens up the dlls. Easy to extract.

The color on my skin was too flat looking. I will need to dynamize the mask a little.

Oh no. Message is getting big again.

Enjoy your vacation. I've started mine too.:)

Alright, I'll grab that screeny for you when I get a chance...in BMP format, because uncompressed = High-quality.

My phone decided to suggest some stupid stuff as complete words again. "BMuniper7" and "High-quauniper7" this time around

Gosh. Now a second page.

Hi Splitwirez.

#@$%^UNIPER here.

The information you gave, about VMware player helped a lot.
Thank you. Works fine. I can see it all now.

Odd, the power button is just a thin line.
I'm sure I'm going to make a better one than that,
maybe with two lines. :)

Well, I'm going to be busy now, taking what I like, and discarding the rest.
The skin I make, will look to similar to yours. It will have a couple of silly things of my own,
so in keeping with my experimental nature.

Once again.Thank you for your help.

Hello Splitwirez.
Is it ok, for me to release my version of the Longhorn/Vista 5112.
The one with the three coats of painted color?

Looking back at this thread, I see two things:
1. I really sucked at skinning back when I started this
2. I kinda feel like reviving it with better-quality skins and such...anyone interested? :3

Just airbrush out the blemishes

Not really interested at this point in time.

Hey, did you do this one yet?

-Whistler Menu Snip-

Not yet, but I had planned to. Added to to-do list.

And just to clarify, when I said "interested", I meant "interested in seeing it happen", not "interested in helping out" ._.

Man, are there a lot of Windows Longhorn builds!
As some know, I'm trying to make a Longhorn pack.
Got the taskbars from Splitwirez, and now got the start menu and start button from him as well.

Lucky enough, I have some of my own, but I might use these.

Also, where did you get these?

21 leaked pre-reset builds, no idea how many post-reset. And there are more that were shown or seen somewhere but never leaked unto themselves, and presumably hundreds that will never see the light of day.

...yep.

You have my full permission to use any of my stuff (my ownership of it is debatable but whatever, you get the idea), though keep in mind that, that as of typing this post, the skins on this thread are nowhere near my standards (I'd call them garbage tbh) and I do intend to redo them now that I have more experience and skills to work with.

Oh...? Wait, skins, or just buttons and taskbars?

AcroGen wrote:

As I said on the other thread, I ripped them right out of the existing leaked builds and reassembled them into CSM formats as needed.

I haven't worked on this project in quite a while, honestly. Kinda forgot about that, and since then, I've been busy with Start9, among other things...
