well the pic linked to has no other info so its probably just a concept drawing.., also you might want to try out rainmeter, it can do virtually everything live tiles can and more
, although it wont be 'compatible' with any of the current live tiles, it has quite a few of its own little apps you can add.., and im sure theres a way to link to all the metro apps through it.. omnimo might be of interest to you (a rainmeter skin, that tries to mimic w8's metro UI)Note: im not a real fan of the windows store, and its attempt to monopolize what can and cant be installed on windows. i know there just following the standard, but there has to be a way to install modern apps outside of the store to change my vote.
