Hi, up to Windows 8.1 there was registry trick that nativelly allowed user to have not combined taskbar items with hidden labels. - When items are grouped you have all Calculators under single icon, so you cannot find it - Solution is "Never combine" settings - But Never combine is too wide with titles. - Solution was to use MinWidth into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Desktop\WindowMetrics and you were able to hide labels. - This way you have achieved "Never combine, hide labels". There is tool 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, which inject code and allow it, but I don't want any other tool for this, when previsouly it worked. http://rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker I'm using Classic Shell, so I would like to ask your team to implement taskbar control to allow "Never combine, hide labels". 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is what you will have to use as I don't think Ivo plans any taskbar tweaking that 7+TT already does so well! |
