Would it be possible to add a feature that makes it so that the taskbar is always shown, even when modern/metro apps are open? Such as when I go into PC Settings, the taskbar vanishes and I have to either alt-tab or move my mouse to the bottom to see it. |

You can show the Taskbar using Win+T. Permanent taskbar is possible in Windows 10 when it will be released in final form (since Modern apps show inside a window on that OS). On Windows 8/8.1, it is possible with the help of the commercial app, ModernMix from Stardock. |

Another commercial alternative to Modern mix($5) is Display fusion($25); which comes with a wide selection of other features you might find useful, Particularly if your on a multi-monitor system Both have a free trial I believe; so you are free to try either/both. Though if the only feature that interest you is having apps in windows, then modern mix is the way to go. |
