Post subject:  White Background For Windows 7 Classic Theme Address Bar
Because my vision is failing, I use Windows 7 Classic Theme (1.png) a lot because of its bright colors and efficient use of screen space. It would be helpful to me if the address bar (2.png) could be changed to a white background, like every other app I use (3.png).

If you are using the Classic theme, open Control Panel -> Personalization -> Window Color. Select "3D Objects" in the dropdown list of "Items" and change the Color 1 to White from Grey and click OK. This will change the address bar background (and many other 3D object backgrounds to white):
