On the recent documents submenu you can right click it to clear recent documents. On pinned or frequently used programs there is no such option on right click nor at the end of the popup list. Would be nice to have the option to clear them instead of deleting them one by one. |

You can clear the frequent list by going to the taskbar properties and unchecking the settings "Store and display recently opened programs". Click Apply, then check it back. Clearing the pinned programs depends on the current settings. They can be in one of two folders. Either %APPDATA%\ClassicShell\Pinned or %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu. Delete the shortcuts in those two folders. |
