Hi! Are the developers planning to adapt Classic Shell to interact with Windows 8.1 Update 1, expected to be offered by Microsoft on April 8? Is it likely that we will still be able to boot to desktop, bypassing the Metro Start Screen? Classic Shell is fabulous! It is so logical and helpful that I find its straight-forwardness aesthetically attractive in itself

Although there are a few odd incidental attractions for mouse/keyboard users in the Metro Start Screen, retention of the desktop with so much of the functionality of Win XP and 7 - and more - has happily waved any regrets for updating from Win 7 to 8.1
