Post subject:  Classic Flat File Icons Option for Pictures

Would it be possible to have the Classic Flat Yellow File Icons we have in Windows XP ? These are much more practical than the Windows 7 3D files, of which I dont see any advantages. The Windows XP Classic Flat Yellow File Icons are very useful especially for pictures files as these allow to see 4 pictures of part of the contents of the files. Thanks & Keep up this EXCELLENT work !

Post subject:  A Classic Option for the "File Save As" - Function / Menu

Would it be possible to create a Classic option to replace the cumbersome Windows 7's "File Save As" for more direct and simple "File Save As" like Windows XP ?

Post subject:  Documents library

Would it be possible to have an option to remove this "Document library" title which is useless as well as the window with cursors on the left of the screen such that this would look Classic i.e. like Windows XP. In fact the file name should appear instead of this Document library, the second line should be removed. There is a wasted space at the bottom of the screen showing the file consulted as well as the date it was modified. This creates clutter and uses screen space un-necessarily. Why not try to get the simple, clear and user friendly XP style for this ?

1. Icons, Yes they can be replaced, but not with classic shell(Unless you just mean the icons added by classic shell, or in the start menu), what you need is a theme.
2. file-save as. The nature of this window, and the fact that it can vary among programs. (though It usually doesn't), Means that the classic shell developers wish to avoid messing with it, for risk of major compatibility issues.

3. there is currently a way to remove the libraries from the navigation pane (which I believe is what you are refering to), Though it Involves a registry edit, and has a few unintended bugs related to it.

Also did you forget to upload a picture, because it seems like you may be referencing something.

1. Flat previews like XP can't be brought back.

2. Neither can classic XP load/save dialog be enforced for select programs although older programs will by default use it instead of the newer dialog with the navigation pane.

3. Click the Organize button -> Layout submenu and uncheck "Library pane" to hide the heading "Documents Library". From the same Organize button -> Layout submenu, you can also turn off the Details pane.
