I can't search forum for this feature cause 'words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words' But idea is illustrated ob the screen shot below: Is it possible to pin programs to start menu? |

You will find the pinning feature only in the beta version: www.classicshell.net/downloads/latestbeta The stable release 3.6.x doesn't have it yet. |

Even in old versions you can "pin" by simply dragging from the MRU section to the pinned section. |

Dragging one shortcut to pin it in 3.6.x shouldn't cause any other shortcut to be copied unless you are dragging the whole folder. |

dfdf wrote: this is not a solution cause extra shortscuts are copied to start menu folder... Well, pinning is nothing more than dragging a shortcut to a folder that is displayed in the main menu. In version 3.6.8 that folder is always Start Menu. In the beta you have an option to choose another folder to be used by the main menu (and to store the pinned shortcuts). |
