#1. Hmm. Feedback noted, but no promises (due to many feature requests from many users). #2. This will require many major changes for actually what we feel is a step back (just to make it like Windows 7 style). They are shown to the right so that more programs or search results can be shown, even in multiple columns if required. Even for single column, the list is scrollable. The Windows 7 style shows them in a constrained area (which MS fixed in Windows 8). |

#1 thanks, I was tryin to play with %PATH% - that didn't work and also with symlinks - it seems that CSM can't search in those too #2 well, most of the time my results are quite accurate (within ~5items) therefore I've never felt constrained and look introduced in win7 felt somewhat "better" (?!) - it didn't spawn it's area more and was more predictable ![]() |

yes, it's about searchbox and no, it's just looking through PATH system variable but putting shortcuts there doesn't help... |

Both features which you requested are now available in the public beta linked from the home page. Try it from the home page if you are interested. |
