I've been searching around for a solution, and it seems like this has been an issue for several years now with some people. Are there any ways of fixing this problem?

In my screenshot attached to this post, you can see the start button in the top right corner despite having an application set to fullscreen mode.

If relevant, my computer specs are:

i5-4690k
32GB DDR3
GTX 980
Windows 10 Build 10240

In one such reported incidents, NVIDIA's graphics drivers were found to be the cause of the issue. They were messing around with the Taskbar.
