I have moved the start bar to the left side of the screen (with the start button in the top left of the screen). Occassionaly, the start button will start flashing constantly. It won't start until I mouse up to it and select it. In this case, this a 50/50 change that the pop out menu will be below the start bar rather than above it. By the way, I do not have the auto hide feature on. I don't have a handle on the conditions that will induce the flashing. |

What version of Classic Shell do you have? |
