I have windows 10 64 pro, anniversary edition, build 14393.105. I disabled cortana using gpedit and on restarting this morning, whenever I try to run a program (or at least one that requires elevation), the program doesn't get run and classic start menu stops responding. Using shift+win enables me to start things as normal though. enabling cortana fixed the issue, but I'd like to be able to run without it. |

Does reenabling Cortana fix the start menu? |
