Hi, After removing ClassicShell on a Windows 10 computer and restarting, it seems like the language bar still appears to be Windows 7 with "EN" in the Taskbar. ![]() I used the Utility to remove things and rebooted. It should look like this: ![]() Is there a fix or registry edit to overcome this? or am I going to have to reinstall 10? Any help would be appreciated. |

Classic Shell has no effect on the language bar in the taskbar. |

It isn't "Windows 7" style either. I purchased a copy of the international version of 8.1, and I had exactly the same thing show up until I finished coercing everything into American English alone. I assume it looks the same in Windows 10 as well. |

The old Language Bar setting is controlled via: Rundll32 Shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL input.dll,,{C07337D3-DB2C-4D0B-9A93-B722A6C106E2} Set it to Docked in the taskbar or hidden. The new Language Indicator setting is controlled via: shell:::{05d7b0f4-2121-4eff-bf6b-ed3f69b894d9} Then click "Turn system icons on or off" and set the "Input indicator" to on. |
