Hello there,
I'm using Windows 8 as an OS.
I was using a previously installed version of Classic Shell before it was deleted due to viruses. After that, the error message I received on clicking the Start Menu icon was
"The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'Start Menu.lnk' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disc is properly inserted or the network resources is available, and then try again."
Accordingly, I redownloaded and installed. It seems to have installed as my Explorer is now modified and I can open it's settings icon by right clicking on the "House" icon that has opened for the Start Menu on the taskbar. I can right click on this icon and then select settings. However, every single time I click (left click- which is my normal click) on the icon, the icon flashes green (as it tends to when loading), and then nothing happens. I've installed and reinstalled.
I tried using a different Start Screen launcher, and it works fine, but Classic Shell doesn't, and I much prefer the Classic Shell version.
I'm using a Lenovo Y40-70 with the Model No. 20347, and the Classic Shell version is 4.3.0 Please help!
