We have a lot of PCs with W10Pro. On every PC we have two accounts: one for administrators (named something like Admin) and one for standard users (named let's say User1). We did all the updates (Anniversary update included) + Classic Shell update to v 4.3.0 (without a hack). Everything seemed to work fine. Then, in order to clean up the mess in user accounts we logged into Admin account, removed User1, restarted PC and added new User2.

When User2 account was prepared by Win there is unexpected behaviour. Classic Shell apparently works, but there is no link to Windows Start (Metro). No Win10 settings forms could be run. Win+X hotkey not working. Installation of programs can't be run. Clicking on time and date on right bottom corner leads to no action. Etc, etc, etc.

Than we logged into Admin account again and everything works fine there... Rebooted PC, logged into User2 account and no change. Logging off, switching users - no progress. Removed User2 again, created User3 - nothing has changed.

Since there is a lot of installed programmes and apps together with zillions of settings we do not especially want to reinstall every PC. What is the most peculiar is that of 30 PCs we did the account operation on two of them it went fine and work flawlessly while on the others we are facing that corrupted behaviour.

Any ideas? Thank's a lot in advance.

Classic Shell only adds a Start Menu and some File Explorer/IE functionality. So if something else broke like Win+x menu, Windows 10 Start, Settings app, it's a Windows issue, it doesn't seem to be related to Classic Shell.

You can be certain that Classic Shell did not break it because it does not touch any Windows files or settings.

Thanks for the info. Now it seems to be like another nice new feature within Anniversary update.
