I was running classic shell before I stupidly asked microsoft to help fix my computer, well now I have done a clean install of windows 10 (dont let them play with your registry they dont know what they are doing). Now I tried installing classic shell 4.2.5c again and it will constantly refresh the desktop, task bar, start menu and close any folders that are open. It stops the second I close the classic shell app though. Can anyone suggest anything, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but that does nothing. |

Made no difference, only happens when the start menu part is added. |

Then your Explorer might be crashing. Can you capture a crash dump as per these instructions?: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6 |

The crash seems related to a file called IDTNC64.cpl, which I believe is related to the audio driver. It is located in G:\Windows\System32. Internet search for that file suggests that it is not compatible with Windows 10 and you should uninstall it. Some people have had luck renaming or deleting that file. |
