Hello, I had classic shell installed on Win8 since it does not have a start menu. I upgraded to Win10 (which actually has a nice Start Menu) and uninstalled classic shell. The problem is that the native windows 10 start menu is not working anymore: left-click has no effect; even all other buttons in the taskbar are not working: network icon, date/time, etc... I tried to install and then uninstall classic shell with no luck. Problem remains. Any idea? Thank you |

The built-in Windows 10 Start Menu is known to be unreliable and often breaks with no easy way to fix it other than reinstalling the whole operating system. Instead you could continue to use Classic Shell on Windows 10 and it won't break on its own. Run the Classic Shell Utility: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3uker ... tility.exe to remove any earlier remains of Classic Shell and then install the latest version from http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/latest |
