Maybe once every twenty times, the start menu search feature balks for me when I'm trying to start a program...

I'll press the win key, type a partial string, (like 'xyz'... enough so that the desired program should be at the top of the search) and press enter, only to get an error:
"Windows cannot find 'xyz', Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

Running the same search again will usually launch the program correctly.

I can't seem to find any pattern in the errors; For a while I thought I might be typing too fast for the search to keep up*, but sometimes it succeeds when I'm just as quick.

I'm running windows 10 10586, the search is set to only search programs and settings, and my indexing service is disabled.

Has anyone else seen this? Am I doing something wrong?

*If this is the case, I would suggest this behavior could be corrected: After pressing enter, if the search hasn't finished, wait until it does or until 100 or so milliseconds elapse before giving up and running the string as a command.

Unless you give the exact reproducible steps for your issue, it's hard to determine if something is wrong and fix it.
