Try exiting Classic Shell by right clicking the Start button and clicking Exit. Does it fix the taskbar behavior? If not, then something else might be causing it.

After updating ClassicShell, the Hide Taskbar option has no function. Switch on and it stays visible but the background thinks it's unvisible and gets hidden by the Taskbar. |

Are you talking about Auto-hide? What version of Windows are you using? Do you have multiple monitors and where is the taskbar? |

I don't know exactly how i resolved the problem the last time. Now it appeared again after an update on Classic Start Menu. I checked all settings but found nothing. I Closed Classic Shell and kicked out any Apple-Service-Tasks and after a short while the Taskbar disappeared like it should. After the next reboot the problem will be there i know. It does appear sometimes with Java open but today Java was closed. |

Does closing Classic Shell by itself make the taskbar auto-hide? |
