It worked for weeks but now I get the Win10 default menu. The "Classic Start Menu" process is running. If I try to click on the "Classic Start Menu Settings" shortcut nothing happens.

This might have started with a Windows update.

The results of ClassicShellUtility are attached.

Thanks for any help, This used to work great.

You could try downloading the installer from http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/latest and doing a Repair installation.

Everything looks good in the log file. Try manually killing the Classic Start Menu process, then start it again.

I did a repair install with no change.

I terminated the task and restarted it with no change.

Any other ideas?

Something is blocking the classic start menu from running inside the Explorer process. I see you have Zone Alarm. There were some reports few years ago about ZA blocking Classic Shell. Try disabling ZA temporarily to see if it is the problem. If so, look for any settings to white-list Classic Shell.

It was Zone Alarm. If I tell it not to run on startup and reboot the start menu works.
Both worked together fine for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure why it stopped.

Thanks for the help.
