Support, I do a lot of work from the command-line. I am able to "run a movie from the command line and have Media Player Classic pop up and play the movie". Normally I will execute "movie.mp4" and when MPC pops up, I will press ALT-ENTER to force it to full-screen. However, with Classic Shell installed (on Windows 7) when I press ALT-ENTER, I get the taskbar properties (apparently the task bar became "current" after loading MPC). Thx! |

I can't repro this on Windows 7. I also have MPC-HC installed. When I launch any video from the Start Menu, MPC-HC takes focus and Alt+Enter takes it fullscreen. Assuming by "cmd line" you mean the Start Menu search box. Command prompt or Run dialog are part of Windows, not part of Classic Shell. |

Actually, by command-line, I mean, I open a "command prompt black box" and then run the video from there... It works correctly without Classic Shell, but with CS the task bar becomes "focus" and an ALT-ENTER causes the properties to pop up... |

You mean the taskbar becomes focused only when the Start Menu is running? And if you exit CSM, the app launched from the command prompt becomes active. Which version of MPC are you running? It can be a bug in Media Player Classic too. Are you using the Home Cinema fork of MPC a.k.a MPC-HC which is actively maintained? I am running MPC-HC on Windows 7 and Classic Shell 4.2.1 and with the Start button replaced or without replacing it, I am unable to reproduce your issue when I open any file or app from the command prompt. |

RETRACT: I tried it again, today, and it works perfectly. Last week, would lose focus, today, no problem. Embarrassing. |
