Under Windows XP, the subfolders of the "Programs" that contain the shortcuts are shown with a different icons than all other filders.

In Classic Shell menu only the "Programs" entry itself uses this icon while all its sub-folders use standard folder icon.

The corresponding icons are selected below:

The folder icon comes from Explorer. In Vista, Microsoft changed it such that the folder icon under the Start Menu folders is the same as the icon for the rest of the folders.
