Running CSM 3.6.6 on W8 x64. I have User picture showing in Control Panel, but the image on CSM is default W8 user image not the user selected one. Clicking the image goes to the user area of Control Panel. How to get it to show correct image? Is it a function of the of image type supported by CSM?
Pete

Did you set the image from PC Settings? No idea what may be causing it. Try switching to a Microsoft account if you are using a local account and back to the local account, or vice versa to see if it fixes it.

On Windows 8, you have to open "PC Settings" (the Modern Control Panel) to change the user account picture. If you are using a Microsoft Account on Windows 8, you must set the picture in your online profile at https://profile.live.com

Starting with Classic Shell 4.2.0, there is a dedicated setting to change the user picture. It overrides the Windows user account picture and you can specify your own.
