The classic start menu is not working. I downloaded latest version uninstalled and reinstalled and I am still getting regular Windows 7 ugly start menu. It just will not work I can select classic but it's not working.

I have determined the problem is something to do with the start button because when I used windows key to open it I got the classic start menu. How can I fix the start menu button behavior in Classic Start Menu? Is there no way to completely reset it to defaults in case something is messed up?

Double-check the setting "Windows Key opens" in the Controls tab in the settings dialog.

You can reset all settings to default from the Backup button at the bottom.

Thanks the backup button resolved the issue and now I can configure it the way I want.
