version: 4.0.4 os: windows 7 x64 i have set max recent programs to 30 or -30. but it never grows to more than 17. i'm using small icons, there're plenty of room there |

There is a limit of 20 for frequent/recent programs in Classic Shell's Start Menu and if you have pinned programs at the top, even less than 20. The original Windows Start Menu had a limit of 30. |

Starting with Classic Shell 4.2.5, the limit for recent/frequent apps is raised to 40. |
