Auto cascade and auto hide not working in Classic Start Menu

Post subject:  Auto cascade and auto hide not working in Classic Start Menu
In a recent install, I have encountered 2 problems:
  1. Auto tree cascade (ie. hovering over a folder in order to open it) has stopped functioning. Instead, it is necessary to click on a folder in order to open it.
  2. Auto hide when moving away from the start menu has stopped functioning, if I have hovered over any part of the menu. To close it, I have to click on the Start button, and press escape.
Can you help me with this, please?

What version of Classic Shell are you using?

Thank you for the response. It's version 4.0.2.

But I woke up this morning realizing that I hadn't tried a reboot :oops:. I'm not sure why the problem arose, but a reboot has resolved it - at least, for now.

By the way, thank you for the work that you all do on this program. Windows 7 + Classic Shell is a superb OS, but without Classic Shell.........
