This is with windows 7-style start Steps to reproduce: 1. type something in search. 2. backspace it. 3. open all programs. If you follow the steps above, the all programs will not fill the entire box, and it looks rather odd. Can you please fix this? Thanks! ![]() |

It's not clear what exactly you mean, can you show with a screenshot of what's expected vs what happens? |

Actually... That's the visual appearance; what I thought happened at first. What's ACTUALLY HAPPENING is: it removes the left part normal view when it put the all programs on. After you open then backspace a search, this somehow prevents the left part normal view from being removed. Just follow the steps, and you'll notice the 'normal view' of the left pane is still in view behind the all programs. Normally, this is supposed to be removed when I open all programs, but for some reason, it isn't when I do this. |

And the images you requested... One of what is SUPPOSED to happen, and does unless you backspace a search to return to the normal start.

The reason for the gap at the bottom is that the tree control is resized so that it doesn't have partially cut items. The reason for the icon partially showing through the gap is a bug. It will be fixed. |
