Hello, first sorry for my bad english;) i want to reinstall Classic shell but i cant deinstall it from my pc the deinstall stucks at this screen here i closed the installation in the task manager because it stucks later i tried to delete all the files from Classic Shell but it still has 8,10 mbs heres a picture ![]() and when i try to install classic shell it stuck at this screen ![]() i dont know what to do.. pls help me i hate the windows 8.1 startbutton |

It may be possible that the UAC prompt is not getting shown properly as this is the screen where's it shown. Try right clicking the installer -> Run as administrator to approve the UAC prompt first and then install/uninstall. You can also uninstall by running the installer of the version you have installed. |

What exactly happens when you run it as admin? Does the UAC prompt get shown? Do you have UAC disabled? Or that part works but you get stuck at this screen above? |

i dont know what you mean with UAC but i can say that it still stucks |

UAC means User Account Control. Okay, try this: 1. Open Control Panel 2. Open User Accounts 3. Click 'Change User Account Control settings'. Click Yes to continue. 4. Move the slider all the way down to "Never notify me" setting. 5. Click OK. Now try installing/uninstalling Classic Shell. Some display drivers have problems displaying the User Account Control prompt so that may be why your install is getting stuck. |

Ok i solved the problem the problem was a virus named bitguard:) |
