I just installed 3.9.1 Beta on Windows 8 and Server 2012. Just noticed this oddity.
See the little red mark by 'Search files'? It isn't there when viewing same tab on Windows 8.
(Both systems have NVIDIA GFX Driver 314.22)

If you hover over it you will see the reason for the red mark. Most likely you have stopped the WSearch service, so the start menu can't search for files. |

Oh I see now. Is that supposed to be a red exclamation mark? It's not very clear. Maybe you could move it up and left a bit so it doesn't clash with the check box. |
