Hi,

on our PCs at work (Win 10 1709, Classic Shell 4.3.1) we observed a problem with renaming files as admin.

The first time we had the problem was, when a files in a program(x86)-subfolder was to be renamed. After entering the new name, accepting the change and entering the admin-password the filename wasn't changed. Logging into an admin-account and renaming from there worked.

Even after removing Classic Shell the problem persists.

Has anyone a clue what might cause this error? Thanks for your help.

make you sure you're not logged on as standard user or right click programs(x86) folder and try changing permissions..
