Post subject:  Which Shell parts do I need?
I started to download Classic Shell but when the set up indicated that Classic Shell took so much space and that Explorer, Start Menu, IE, and Shell Update too so much space I didn't know if I want to download all of it or just parts of it. From what I hear I want the start button and menu that works similar to XP. Other than Classic Shell which of those other 4 do I want to have?

The installer won't start if the download is not complete. Since you got this far your download is OK.
If you want the start button you need the Classic Start Menu component. I also recommend you install the Update component so you get notified when a new version is released.

Classic shell takes under 30 mb of space fully installed, this is equivalent to about 10 songs, and on most computers newer than 2004 (based on a 100gb hard drive) this usually less than .03% of the available space.

If I were you I would just install all components ;)
as they wont really hurt performance, and will likely bring back some familiar features missing from other parts of windows ;P
