Classic Shell: Forum

On my W8 I installed Classic Shell and it was perfect. Before upgrading to W8.1 I uninstalled Classic Shell again and after the upgrading to W8.1 the pc became quite slow. It took around 12 seconds to open up the programlist. Neither the MS nor the Asus hotline had any sugestions exept updating the drivers or roling back to W8. Upgrading the drivers did not help, so I finally tried to reinstall Classic Shell and that solved completely the problem. So my question is now if Classic Shell could tricker that problem not being correctly uninstalled or even having uninstalled too much slowing down the pc?

No, having Classic Shell installed or not installed will not affect the speed of the PC.
