Can I use Classic Shell to resize things like the OK, Apply, and Cancel buttons? I'm also looking to resize the horizontal scroll bar & buttons and the size of items in Explorer windows. Can Classic Shell help with any of these?

The size of buttons often depends on the font size. You can try finding a way to increase the font size. One way is by changing the DPI setting.

Btw, the font sizes of some items have been moved in Windows 8 to 'Display' in Control Panel as the Advanced Appearance settings were removed. :(

I know - I'm really missing the Window Color and Appearance box from Windows 7, hence my questions. I have not found a way to change the font size for the buttons. I'm sure there's a registry key for it somewhere, but I've not had any luck locating it yet.
Also, changing the font size on some items, such as menus, impacts Office 2013 to the point that the splash screen is unusable when setup for touch. Windows 8 forces me into Desktop on some functions, which is not very usable with touch-only interfaces, like the Thinkpad 2.
