Thanks GauravK, I guess I'll just resort to changing the focus prior to removing/ejecting the media to stop it closing

Hi Forum, File manager (Windows Explorer) closes when, for exmaple, a USB flash drive is removed if the focus was on that drive I do understand that this is by intent but this hasn't always been the case for earlier versions of Windows where instead the focus would have moved up However, I do recall...
