Just did another Windows 8.1 update. This time Windows updated fine........with Classic Shell still installed!!!

Another update this morning. I tried right clicking and exiting but that didn't help. Windows 8.1 will not update with Classic Shell running.

The last 2 Windows 8.1 updates tried to update but couldn't. I removed Classic Shell, tried again with no problem. Since installing Classic Shell, which works great by the way, a cold boot no longer displays anything until the desktop appears.

Is this normal? Can it be changed back to a normal boot sequence for Windows 8?
