Thanks! Upon looking closer in the settings for the Classic Start, I simply assigned the Windows key to open Metro. I don't have a touch screen so I have little use for Metro, but it's comforting to know it's available.

I do prefer the Classic Start, but now and then I'd like to open Metro in W8. Only way I've foind to do this is to open an app, then drag the app down to the bottom and lo! metro appears. But is there any way to just call it up?
