I am using Classic Shell 4.0.0 with Windows 8 Standard Version. By "unable to hover", I mean that when I move my mouse over a menu item, the item doesn't open. But since I haven't found a way to repruce the error yet (and it seems to me that it orccurs randomly), I think there won't be a w...

From time to time, I am unable to hover the items from my classic start menu. It is not a big deal, because I can still navigate through the menu using my keys. Also, when I exit the menu and start it again, the bug is gone. But, as I said before, it keeps on reoccuring from time to time. Is there a...

The name for the start screen item comes from the StartMenuL10N.ini file because it is localized in all languages. You can change it there, but it may break during the next upgrade. Another way to change the name is to open the properties and change the name from startscreen.lnk into whatever you w...

You can go to Customize Start Menu tab in Settings, double click the item for which you want to edit the accelerator, and add '&' before the name in the "Label" field.
Thank you. But I couldn't find the item for the start page. Is it really not there, or have I just not seen it yet?

Can you do it so that every letter is being underlined? Because it is in the other items, after all.

I noticed an optical error in the german version: When you try to use the classic start menu with your keys, it doesn't underline the menu items "Startseite" (which means "Start Screen"), "Computer" and "Apps". I also noticed that the "error" doesn't...

I don't want to run out of versions. 3.9.1 will be the public beta. For now the versions will stay 3.9.0. Well, you can't actually "run out of versions", can you? Just insert another dot, and you will never run out :D (for example, that version would be called "3.9.0.1" and so o...

@Ivo: Sadly, I can't reproduce the error myself. If it occurs again, I will notify you. But it either seems to be fixed or just "went out of the way"

Why didn't you call the new version 3.9.1?

Okay. Is that Icon only needed for the Win 7 menu and can be changed to "normal" for the classic start menu?

In the new Version of Classic Shell, there is a new startmenu Option called "Classic in two columns". I don't think this is an original Name, because this type of startmenu Looks more likely to the Windows 7 menu (and does not provide the Features that the classic startmenu provides). I th...

But it was used before, wasn't it? So, if it can't be used, how come it was used in the previous version?

On Windows 8, the Icon for the Apps-Menu isn't the one from the normal programmenu (like it was in previous Versions), but a strange-looking Rhombus. Maybe some People find this very "useful", but I personally don't see any Point in having a different, not so clear Icon for the apps. Is th...

I don't think this is such a great idea. No Classic Shell user uses the weird metro screen, so I doubt I will use this feature. You can create one yourself, if you want.
