Not sure if Classic Shell ever supported fast ring, prerelease types, as they change over time. I would gamble that a formal public release would work unless Microsoft did some major change to explorer or security that deletes CSM ram memory? It is definitely disheartening though to read your words....

Obviously Microsoft does not want users to use older programs, only to use their "Apps" instead.

Here is a slightly better transparent version. It's difficult because of 4 or 5 pixels on each frame, that would need to be edited, and that's a lot of frames. :lol: I pass.

If you want a tighter top-bottom frame crop, ( to be more centered)

That transparency image is very good,
because there is no black boundary, the size can be increased to make it look better,

I quickly copied the top part of your button, flipped, added to it,
and put it at the other end of taskbar.
It's the wrong diagonal angle for my taskbar size, but still looks cool.

I don't want to stray too far away on this skin, as it's supposed to be a replica of Win7.
I even have the original pin bitmaps for jump view on the white split option.
I did not add black text / black text & shadow.
I only added the shadow for the white text on glass. Sorry :)

WIN7LIKE COMBO I put it in zip (big file)at top of post. It is the combination of " Full Glass WIN7LIKE" and "WIN7LIKE" skins. Was made for Windows 10, due to some options that use Metro colors. It still works on Windows 7 with CSM 4.3.0 as long as not set on Metro color options....
